Pradipto Sensarma has over 3 years of experience in information technology and also working as an Android developer- Associate consultant at Capgemini.
His goal is to create something which can help at least 10 people. “I just hope they will remember me after I am gone. Musicians are the best example of this, people enjoy their creations long after they are gone and I wish to be the same.”
He believes if he genuinely can solve a problem for at least 10 people then the same solution will work for millions of other people facing the same problem. He further adds, “If I can solve a problem that I am facing then I am sure I am solving a problem faced by 10 other people.”
He has over 3 years of experience in information technology and he is also working as an Android developer/ Associate consultant at Capgemini. “I hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering.” His goal is to create something which can help at least 10 people and hope for they will remember him long after he is gone. “Musicians are the best example of this, people enjoy their creations long after they are gone and that is what makes them legendary.”
As a teenager, he used to watch plenty of live sports and movies with his friends. “When I moved to Mumbai, that was the one thing I craved the most and from there emerged the concept of WatchSpot Live.”
Since Pradipto is new to this field, he thinks that the only valuable lesson for him is, perseverance. “We only lose when we quit.” Just keep trying and improving, is his motto. “When you TRY you FAIL When you FAIL you to LEARN and When you LEARN Succeed.”
It is natural for parents to find the safest path for their children, it is what they are supposed to do. But as a human being, one must also identify his or her purpose in this life.
For a human being to survive, there has to be a purpose. “I am not saying everyone's purpose should be to become an entrepreneur but I feel everyone's purpose should be to help and support someone, be it your family or other people in your society.” He believes that parents should make their children realize that it's ok to fail but it's not ok to not try at all.
“I believe YouTube is enough to kick start any tech business, we have all the learning resources there and then the implementation is really up to us.” Says Pradipto
"The only major challenge Indian entrepreneurs will face is the rejection of Indian products in the country. As the common saying goes 'imported hai Bhai' which generally is a symbol of a high standard in our society.”
Unless all of us change this mindset, it's really difficult for Indian entrepreneurs in any domain to succeed, he further adds.
For homegrown products like Paytm have been widely adopted in India but for that to happen, the level of marketing done is unimaginable for anyone starting up.
“Such is the power of nationalism and unity.” Wonders happen when countrymen choose to support their homemade brands rather than a foreign body.
His WatchSpot Live is an application that enables users to watch videos, movies, audible stories, and sports with friends in group chats or video calls. Here users can also integrate the application with their android TV and eliminate the hassle of searching for videos using their TV remote, they can directly search and play videos from the mobile app which will then play on their TV without any screencast.
“It's the first-ever app that makes it possible to play videos from a mobile app to android tv without a screencast. Apart from this, I cannot think of anything else which makes it unique”, says Pradipto.
