Isha, who belongs to the Konkani-speaking Mangalorean family, was the first in her entire family to have set foot in the Indian Cinema. During her teenage days, she was very good with her academics at the same time, she was an excellent State level basketball player in her college. She changed 4 colleges in 5 years in Mumbai which helped her gain experience and exposure to various fields. While she was a student at Ruia College, she’d participate in Inter-college Modelling and eventually, she created her portfolio and her journey began.
She started getting roles in the South Film Industry. She even won an Award for her work in the south Indian Films. It was then that Ram Gopal Verma gave offered her the song “Khallas” which opened doors for her in the Bollywood Industry.
Entering an alien industry, in Isha’s Case, the film industry, was challenging. “Since I hail from a science background, I had trouble understanding the business aspect. But my brother, whose forte is finance, guided her to know how money works.
After that she contributed heavily by being an essential part of one of Bollywood’s renowned movies such as Don, Company, Rudraksha, Shabri, etc.
As life passed, Isha Progressed. She got married to Mr. Timmy Narang in the year 2009, and today, they’re blessed with a beautiful daughter, Rianna. But despite wonderfully playing the role of a wife and a mother, she has not compromised on her contribution in the world of cinema.
“My parents always taught me to invest. They’d say creating money is rather easy, but creating wealth is difficult.” Hence, Isha always had plans to invest in startups, and scale up the money she made. Despite being a wellness trainer, she has tried to create a perfect balance between her diet, health, and trying various foods. “Food is my passion. And as a customer, I understand what people like.”
This eventually gave birth to her first start-up, The Central Kitchen, which is located in Sion. To know all about The Central Kitchen, one can visit https://thecentralkitchen.in/ With her vision, Isha plans to expand her business horizon and contribute to the development of India.
