Growing up in the slums of Mumbai, Dr. Hardik Joshi had a dream of becoming a doctor and leading a life with no financial struggles. But coming from a family surrounded by no positive education atmosphere, it was a serious struggle for him to focus on his studies. However, his parents’ hard work and determination to see their son educated inspired him to overcome all odds. After scoring a good percentage in the 10th grade, Dr. Hardik faced another challenge of coming from a Gujarati Medium school and struggling with English and other subjects for the first few years of his college. Despite this, he traveled nearly 4 hours on the train to commute to his college and used his Gujarati-English dictionary to understand sentences taught to him in his college. His ambition led him to overcome the language barrier, and he became the college topper. Out of all the streams in science, medicine was what caught his interest. He wanted to understand the science of pharma and how it cures people's pains. Hence, after his 12th, he completed B. Pharm and eventually pursued a Ph.D. in cancer research. Reaching here wasn’t easy for him, but his hard work and dedication paid off.
Today, Dr. Hardik Joshi is a successful Ph.D. holder in cancer research, making his mark in the scientific community. He has worked on several research projects and has contributed significantly to the field of cancer research. Dr. Hardik’s research focuses on developing novel drugs that can target specific cancer cells and minimize the side effects of chemotherapy.
