E-cell Yukta's flagship event returns with six innovative competitions and networking opportunities on March 7-9, 2025
MKSSS's Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Pune is set to host the much-anticipated entrepreneurship summit, Empulse 2025, organized by E-cell Yukta from March 7-9, 2025. Building on the success of previous editions, this year's event aims to attract over 1500+ students from across the region, creating a vibrant hub for budding entrepreneurs.
Empulse 2025 features six carefully curated events designed to challenge participants' business acumen, strategic thinking, and innovative capabilities:
Sparkulate: Business Hackathon (March 8, 2025) invites teams of 3-5 members to present groundbreaking business ideas through multiple challenging rounds, including a preparatory/ eliminatory quiz round followed by a debate pitching and a hackathon-style final competition with mentor engagement. A set amount of time will be given to participants to design and refine their ideas before presenting them to the very impressive panel. Participants will be given participation certificates along with exciting goodies with a total prize pool of Rs. 20,000 for the winners. Sparkulate focuses on fostering collaboration, competition and troubleshooting which will showcase participants’ entrepreneurial spirit.
Escape Room: The Entrepreneurial Adventure (March 8, 2025) tests problem-solving abilities and teamwork through a series of dynamic challenges where a team of 3-5 members can participate. The event will commence with an enthusiastic welcome and a concise overview, followed by a clear set of instructions and rules, and concept of the very electrifying escape room. Members will take up the pace with task 1 which is a rapid relay quiz followed by the next task, chronology relay race, and finally making it to the last task of solving case studies and mathematical puzzles which will give them the digits to finally escape the room. This dynamic and thrilling event promises to be both intellectually stimulating and highly engaging for all participants with a cash prize of 9000 INR.
E-cell Meetup: Bridging the Gap (March 9, 2025) will bring together E-cells from various colleges across Pune for collaboration and networking. The event will feature presentations from different E-cells, ice-breaking activities, and sessions focused on building partnerships within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. To kick off the event, it will start with an overview of all the teams and their representatives followed by interesting and fun activities. These games will be designed to encourage interaction among the members to get to know each other better. The goal of E-cell meetup is exchange of ideas, enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit that will portray the growth within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
A sight of bridge the gap 2024
Investify: A Money Multiplication Trivia (March 8-9) challenges teams to multiply an initial sum of ₹100 through innovative business strategies within 24 hours of time. This intercollege competition combines financial acumen with marketing skills, culminating in a final round featuring the top three teams. Teams will share their experience and hardships to multiply their money from 100 rs honing their investment skills. Fun activities and quizzes will be conducted to engage the participants which are full of excitement and thrill, this will also be a chance for them to win goodies. Investify will test marketing and entrepreneurship skills of the participants giving them an opportunity to learn about making profit in a set amount of time.
Start-up Showcase: Innovator's and Investor's Arena (March 8-9) provides a platform for emerging startups to present their ideas to investors, venture capitalists, and business mentors, fostering meaningful connections and growth opportunities. From student startups to investors, everyone is welcome to showcase their own business in this event. This is also a chance for participants of every other event to make connections and network with the founders of different startups. Not just the participants, but also the students across all colleges in Pune can visit these startup stalls and get to know about these businesses. About 20 stalls will be set up in the college campus which will make a huge impact in showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit.
