Dipali Despande | The Entrepreneurs of India Womenpreneur Magazine July 2022

Even after being at one of the pinnacles in her career, she believes she gets to learn something new every day. From those working in factories to those in offices, everyone has a lesson to teach.

With pride, she talks about being fortunate to be around people who supported her. The family played a crucial role in letting her embrace storms of adversity. How someone treats you depends on your charisma.

“The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking..” – Steve Jobs.

Dipali is the ideal example of fitting this quote righteously. Her choices prove that no

matter the hardships involved, one should

never settle for less.

After quitting her job in the corporate world, Dipali began searching for passion. She discovered the bliss of art. She exhibited her work in the London Art Biennale 2021.

The thrust to work for the betterment of her country took her to the tribal areas. There, she figured that she needed to stay connected to her roots.

Dipali made it a point to promote Indian Tribal Art and the handloom industry. She launched her own fashion brand- ‘Taurean Trend.’

She cannot emphasize enough the necessity of being practical. “Theoretical knowledge is not enough. Exploring is important.”

According to her, it matters little to swim a sea of knowledge but what matters the most is when you explore its depth.
