Mr Kunj Channe: It all started when our fellow villagers made fun of us simply because we were poor middle-class families. Every moment they made fun of us simply reminded me to prove to them that being born into a poor family isn’t a sin. Even the poor can make their dreams come true, and it was at this moment that I decided that I would grow up to be an industrialist.
As a researcher, I quickly understood the development and needs of the concerned sector. With a few years of hard work, I’ve made our venture into one of the main companies in India today. Our demand is all over India and abroad. I’ve researched over 14700 different types of equipment and components of old and new technology across all fields and technologies. The credit of all these inventions of mine has been given new recognition by rewarding various platforms in India. I was also known as the "Best Car Designer" because of our many important contributions to the growth of the company.
All entrepreneurs have experienced failure because it kind of allows us to keep moving forward. The biggest challenge in my life was that when I started living in Nagpur city after completing my education, I didn’t have money, and had to live at railway stations and on footpaths for several months. When I started the business, it was growing well for a few years until some competitors in the market conspired to remove me because of my significant efforts. But I overcame all these challenges with courage.
In 2006 I was awarded Sakal Sanskar Suvarna Shidori Award, and in 2014 I was honoured with the Swami Vivekananda Youth Awards, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Bharat Ratna National Award, by the Government of India in Delhi. I was also honoured with two fellowship Awards in 2015 & 2016. I was honoured with a Gold medal in 2016, Kahani Zidd ki Acknowledgement Award 2020, I-inspire Award 2021, International Public Speaking Championship 2021, and International Business Awards 2022.
Time plays a significant role in our lives. If you always use your time properly, then you will be successful in life. Also, you don't need a big degree, to become big, just your talent and hard work are what make you a successful person.
