Ajay Sapkale | The Entrepreneurs of India Magazine June 2022

“The potential possibilities of any child are the most intriguing and stimulating in all creation“. Adults are also regarded as outdated children, so bringing one's childhood fantasies forward and collaborating with them can be enthralling. Likewise it was revealed to be accurate by the founder of Astrophilia, Mr. Ajay Sapkale, a vicenarian entrepreneur, an optimist and an exuberant bloke. Mr. Ajay was drawn to the meticulous profession of design, which led him to combine his childhood fantasies with his present curiosities. As grads of the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, he and his colleague, Ebrahim Vasi, came up with the concept of Astrophilia. This adventure began with an academic course that required considerable design study into India's space program, says Ajay.

Though it is not an “absolute cinch” but even with the shortened finances, they were able to complete their initial design stage with the help of family and friends who were willing to chip in. With brainery being a valuable resource, the interactions with friend and faculty, and education played a trump card.

This saying “In family life, love is the oil that eases friction, the cement that binds closer together, and the music that brings harmony” was proved real by Ajay’s and his colleagues’ families, for their support held them strong despite the challenges of expanding the outreach of Astrophilia amidst lockdown, as well as being new to selling, marketing, managing, finances, and client acquisition but with privatization, wide exposure to knowledge through copious.

technologies, and ISRO's eminence, the space industry has been flabbergasting people since its launch, which makes it spellbinding for Mr. Ajay to work in this industry.

With the assistance of augmented reality, one can examine and engage with actual rockets. It is based on the designs and pieces of genuine rovers created by several space agencies throughout the world. However, it is not a facsimile of an existing design. For example, in Rover X, one can design and build one's own Mars rover. Both goods also include posters for the curious mind to investigate facts about many aspects of rocketry, flying, and rovers! With a belief that making mistakes should be okay, Mr. Ajay keeps on working hard with a firm belief in himself.
